Rahul Gandhi Meets Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Following Pahalgam Attack Srinagar, 25 April 2025: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, the Honourable Omar Abdullah, in Srinagar today in the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. During their meeting, Mr Gandhi expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims and extended his solidarity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He was briefed by Chief Minister Abdullah on the current security situation and the measures being undertaken by the administration in response to the tragic incident. Both leaders strongly condemned the attack, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, resilience, and the protection of civilians in the region. Mr Gandhi emphasised the importance of unity in the face of such acts of violence and reiterated the Congress Party’s support for efforts aimed at restoring normalcy and ensuring justice for those affected. |
