Prime Minister Arrives in Jeddah, Commences Official Visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Jeddah, 22 April 2025: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi arrived in Jeddah today, marking the commencement of his two-day State visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This visit is poised to further strengthen the longstanding bonds of friendship between India and Saudi Arabia, and to advance bilateral cooperation across a wide spectrum of areas, including trade, investment, energy, and cultural exchange. Upon arrival, the Prime Minister expressed his enthusiasm for the visit, stating: "Landed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This visit will strengthen the friendship between India and Saudi Arabia. Eager to take part in the various programmes today and tomorrow." Over the course of the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in a series of high-level engagements and programmes, aimed at deepening strategic ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two nations. |
