Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Chairs Review Meeting for Shri Amarnath Pilgrimage Security Arrangements Union Minister of Home Affairs, Shri Amit Shah, today chaired a high-level review meeting to evaluate the security arrangements and preparedness for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Pilgrimage. The meeting focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of the pilgrims throughout their sacred journey to the Amarnath Cave in Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, Shri Amit Shah stressed the importance of maintaining the highest level of vigilance, highlighting the need for seamless coordination between various agencies to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey. He directed the authorities to take all necessary precautions to ensure that the pilgrimage proceeds smoothly and safely. The Union Government, in close collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Administration, will leave no stone unturned in providing all essential facilities and services to the pilgrims. The aim is to ensure a hassle-free experience and to uphold the sanctity and safety of the sacred pilgrimage. |
